Our Story

Closer to What Makes Meghalaya, Meghalaya

Travel has always been about discovering new places. Seeing their landscapes, exploring their beauty, and taking a little of the experience back home. But some places have more to offer than what meets the eye. They have a way of life waiting to be felt, stories waiting to be heard, and rhythms that can only be understood when we slow down.

It is this belief that gave shape to Living Meghalaya. A way to go beyond sightseeing and live the quieter side of the Cloudland through three distinct landscapes: Umiam, Jongksha, and Sakal A·duma.

To Live the Land Is to Care for It

  • Land First

The landscapes we come to live deserve to remain as they are. Every stay is thoughtfully designed to sit gently within its surroundings, keeping the land at the heart of the experience.

  • People First

Meghalaya is as much its people as its landscapes. Through local hospitality, shared stories, and lived traditions, we bring guests closer to the people who give the Cloudland its character.

  • Culture First

From age-old crafts to traditions carried through generations, Meghalaya has stories worth preserving. We celebrate these living expressions of culture, allowing guests to experience them with curiosity and respect.
